UAE stock markets decline collectively on Thursday

UAE – Mubasher: The main index DFMGI of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) fell by 12.91 points (0.32%) at the end of Thursday’s session, reaching 3,956.26 points.

A total of 218.59 million shares were exchanged at a value of AED 510.18 million.

Emaar Development was the top faller with 3.12%.

Meanwhile, Dubai Taxi Company, which started trading its shares on DFM on 7 December 2023, acquired the trading volume and value with 113.02 million and AED 246.63 million, respectively. In addition, the newly listed firm was the top riser with 19.45%.

Similarly, the benchmark index FADGI of Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) closed the session lower by 0.11% at 9,470.44 points.

The trading value totalled AED 1.02 billion through the exchange of 275.36 million shares. Meanwhile, the market cap value amounted to AED 2.85 trillion.

International Holding Company (IHC) registered the highest turnover of AED 215.83 million.

Phoenix Group was the top riser with 23.76% in addition to dominating the largest trading volume of 27.03 million shares.

Meanwhile, Fujairah Building Industries led the losers with 5.24%.
